iCivics.org; The game People's Pie on iCivics is about controlling the budget of the federal government. At first I thought that the game would be easy but it's not easy because you have to decide what proposals are important and you also have to keep the citizens happy. It's not easy keeping the citizens happy because they don't always agree with the proposals that you cut. You also must try to stay out of debt or keep your debt low because intrest rate does increase each time you borrow money. This game will give you an idea of how difficult it is to control the budgeting of the federal government.

U.S. adds 243,000 jobs in January

Jobless rate falls to 8.3%; Companies in the U.S. hired many workers in the past nine months which made the unemployment rate drop to 8.3%, which is the lowest it has been for the past three years. Many people believe that the weather might have helped to create more jobs in construction. The unemployment rate dropping has also helped President Obama's probability of reelection improve from 2.2% to 56.8%. As more people keep their jobs or more being hired, it will help the economy improve and bring it back to pre recession levels.
